Shakespeare's Houses and Gardens

Gift Aid

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is an educational charity that receives no government funding to support its work in caring for and promoting Shakespeare's legacy to the world.

As we are a charity we are able to take part in the HMRC's gift aid scheme, whereby we can claim the tax back on every gift a UK taxpayer makes to us. This currently means we are entitled to an extra 28p in every pound gift aided, from things such as admission to Shakespeare's Houses.

All you need to do is confirm that you are a UK taxpayer, that you are happy for us to treat your admission to see the houses as a donation and that you will pay enough in income or capital gains tax in the year to equal the amount we are going to claim from your gift. We will also need your full name, address and postcode for audit purposes (please note these will NOT be used for any other purpose than gift aid unless you tell us otherwise).

You can also use your ticket as often as you like for a whole year during our normal opening times, so if you can't see everything in one visit we look forward to welcoming you back.

Thank you in advance for supporting the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust by gift aiding your visit.
